Thankful for Jesus: A Day for Abundant Joy

Isaiah 12:1–6

Giving thanks goes beyond gratitude for life’s blessings—family, friends, and provision—it’s reflecting on the greatest gift: Salvation in Jesus Christ.

Isaiah 12:1-6 reminds us of the joy that springs from God’s ultimate work of salvation. Written 700 years before Christ, Isaiah prophesied a day when God’s anger would turn to comfort, and His people would draw “water from the wells of salvation.” That day came in Jesus, fulfilling these words by offering eternal life—the living water He spoke of in John 4.

When we trust in Jesus, we have a reason to celebrate, no matter our circumstances. His work on the cross not only meets our deepest needs but also fills us with unshakable joy.

This week, pause to:
Praise the Lord for His salvation.
Proclaim His name to others.
Sing for joy, knowing the Holy One is among us.

Gratitude isn’t just about today’s blessings but the eternal hope we have in Jesus. Let’s share this good news and live in thankfulness for His incredible gift!
