Contend for the Cross

Figuring out what is worth fighting for

Jude 1:1–4, 14–16

When are world is crumbling around us, what are we supposed to do? What is the single biggest problem we have? What is worth fighting for? In this two-part series, we will examine the very heart of the gospel. The central tenant is the cross, that which is worth fighting for. Beginning in Jude 1:1-4, we will be reminded that our biggest problem is the wrath of God. There is an accounting for our sin and even though there are lots of smaller problems, our biggest problem is our sin in front of a holy God. The only answer is for God Himself to provide a way out… a Savior… through His Son. Renew your priorities with this Biblical reminder.
